| 1. Go to your Dashboard. 2. Click on Settings. 3. Click on Publishing 4. The first box down the page is where you change your portion of the Blogspot url. It is of course subject to availabilty, and they will let you know while you sit there. No long waiting. 5. Scroll down and Save Settings. |
If your blog has been in existence for any length of time or if there have been very many links already made to it, you ought not to change it. You may also have to resubmit any forms you've filed with the search engines.
Don't worry about the Archive posts. All of them will be appropriately changed.

i want to change the blogspot blog to a bought domain but when i enter the "save settings" an error apears with the message "another blog is already hosted at this domain" , but it is my domain bought recently and the message "page not found apears"

I´ve to change my existing blogspot URL. I know, that I can change it in the blogspot-settings very easily. The problem is, that all of the indexed pages won´t work in the future :-(.

Yes, you understand it well enough. Anyone who has very many pages of any importance can't afford to casually change the url. Nonetheless, everything will eventually be reindexed--maybe a long time, though. If you just created your blog in the past few days, don't worry--but if you created it a month or more ago, I'd say leave the url as it is.
